‘The Gift’ taking part in Anthem

Iranian short flick ‘The Gift’ has made its way to the Anthem Libertarian Film Festival in the US.

The Short Film News website reported that ‘The Gift’ is taking part in the 11th edition of the Anthem Libertarian.

“No one knows why the aliens came or why they never made contact. But when their true intentions are revealed, an unspeakable tragedy unfolds,” a synopsis for the film reads.

‘The Gift’ is directed by Farbod Ardebili.

The Anthem Libertarian Film Festival is aimed to “provide a venue for filmmakers who care about individuality and libertarian ideals”.

The 11th edition of the festival kicked off in Las Vegas on Wednesday and will run until July 16.
